Reflections on the Office Dog
In our office, we have a colleague who frequently falls asleep on the job, steals others' lunches and randomly yells at passers-by on the street. While this type of behaviour would typically not be tolerated in a busy workplace such as ours, these antics have come to be accepted and almost expected of this individual. It would surprise many outsiders to learn that there is a strong and active creative community here in Hamilton. This city produces more than its fair share of musicians, artists, and creative people of all kinds.
We also have a well-established industrial and manufacturing base (which we are much better known for). These two strengths - creative and artistic, and engineering and scientific - are the perfect combination for leading-edge web design, because developing for the Internet requires both creative and engineering skills.
